Commissioning David Oliver Bespoke involves a collaborative journey between client and maker. Right from initial consultation through to delivery, David covers all aspects of the process personally giving each brief the detail and attention which only derives from a custom made piece of Irish furniture.

Each commission is treated uniquely with emphasis placed on function, aesthetic and client requirements. Building a detailed brief followed by in person consultations lead to the exciting steps of discussing materials and finishes together. The same approach is taken from the smallest to the largest pieces, the sculptural to functional.

You will own and enjoy an original piece of functional art, designed and built in Ireland, stamped and signed by its maker, David Carpendale.

David has enjoyed working with his hands from a young age, soaking up inspiration from each developmental stage in becoming a craftsperson. In tandum with his focus on client based commissions his passion for creativity ensues the evolution of some very special, limited-edition works.

Fervently designed and forged by hand, not machine, these original pieces of functional art are available to own directly from the studio.
